I am a widow. I don't thump Bibles, but I love the Lord. I
spent too many years being thumped by the Bible, and now I
am learning to have a relationship with Jesus and not worry
about the fluff. If you have questions about what "fluff"
is, ask me, and I'll explain. I am educated; I am a church
musician, and I appreciate music that is well done. The kind
of music being done in churches today is often being done to
showcase the talents of the performer who should not
consider himself a performer but a servant of God. I have
five children - two were Vietnamese orphans and one is a
Korean paraplegic. I have been very blessed in so many ways.
I would very much enjoy the friendship of a mature
Christian. |

| Appearance |
I am basically petite although not as petite as in bygone
days. I am not very savvy about fashion. I am into "neat
and clean", the fact that I don't look like something out of
a fashion magazine doesn't bother me. My daughters keep me
in line so that I don't look too "retro". My style is
conservative. I suppose my best feature would be my smile.
I smile a lot and have a sense of humor that is somewhat off
the wall. |

| Looking for |
I am looking for someone who is mature, sensitive,
comfortable with himself. I don't like comb-overs. If you
don't like your bald head, shame on you. Overweight doesn't
bother me unless you are gobby fat with your belly dragging
the ground. At our age, a little paunch is to be expected.
Most importantly, I want someone who loves the Lord. I'm
still growing and sometimes I need the support of someone
who has "been there" longer than I have. I had a "Ms.
Nichodemus" experience a year ago and still have much to
learn. And where would I prefer he live? In the South, of
course. |
