| General Information |
The most important part of my identity is that of born-again
Christian, deeply devoted to my Savior Jesus Christ and to
showing Him in all His loveliness to a love-starved world. I
am a language interpreter by profession. I currently
translate Spanish/English in the USA. I was born and raised
in Nairobi Kenya, but have been living in the USA most of my
adult life. I travel to Nairobi about twice a year and it's
my favorite place in the world, along with Paris and
Houston, Texas. I enjoy learning new languages. I speak
presently in addition to English, Spanish, French, Swahili
and Kikuyu. The last two are local languages in East Africa
and Kenya respectively. I am also starting to learn Hebrew
which is my current baby. I have a passion to read the Bible
in the original languages, so Greek is in my sights too,
somewhere along the journey, but Hebrew is first on my list.
I also enjoy good movies, music of all kinds including
opera, classical, country, latin, African, Christian/Gospel
etc. |

| Appearance |
I am 5'2", plump and trying to lose some extra pounds, but
am generally happier and psychologically and spiritually
healthier than when I was a neurotic size 0-2 new ager. I
have been told I have beautiful eyes and a lovely smile. I
like my finger nails best of all. They are long and tapered
like both my mom and dad's who had beautiful hands. I like
my face and am generally happy with my appearance, though I
would love to lose a few pounds. I dress according to the
occasion. I love pairing my colorful African scarves and
wraps with jeans or other western dress for a dramatic
effect. I have a look that is all my own that I've created
for myself and that I feel expresses my personality very
well, but I can be as conservative and formal as I need to
be, when the occasion calls for it. |

| Looking for |
The most important quality I can think of in a mate is that
he would be born-again and share my absolute devotion to
Jesus Christ and to viewing the Bible as the ultimate moral
authority on all conduct and relationships. Other than
that I am a very international girl, so I prefer people who
have a worldly rather than just a regional outlook. Somebody
who is interested in travel, has a good sense-of-humor and
enjoys getting into the Word of God and sharing thoughts on
Biblical matters. If you speak more than one language that
would be super, but if English is your only language that's
fine too. I will confess that am crazy about the French
language so if you speak it that would be icing on the cake.
Also Hebrew is my new baby and am looking to learn as much
as possible, though I see it as a lifelong project. I dream
of traveling to Israel, the holiest of lands, for the
awe-inspiring privilege of walking in the footsteps of the
